I am a Romanian director of photography interested in exploring the visual form through the lens of the stories I work at. Each project represents a new discovery dictated by the core of the story and approached according to it’s innate sensibility. Therefore, although I tend to commit to a cinematic realism, the more expressionistic approaches, I find, are just as meaningful to work on.

Having started with photography and then filmmaking as director and cinematographer, I always praised creative expression to portray dramaturgy. During my early carrer, my work got appreciation through various festivals and cinematographers, winning several awards for my young talent.

I graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Cinematography and subsequently with a Master of Arts degree in The Art of Cinematography at the I. L. Caragiale National Film and Theatre University in Bucharest.
